Construction & Building services Overview

The aim of ABLS is to provide a comprehensive building service to residents, reducing the need for various party involvements, providing consistency in work standards. We undertake Domestic and insurance work and provide a free consultation service so residents are clearly informed of what’s involved, and residents will usually receive their quotation within 48 hrs. Within the quotation, a schedule of works will be attached with a payment schedule which reflects the work undertaken (explained below).

The 1st class work forces delivers finishes with high standards, and are all certified members of their required legislative bodies. Our Architectural knowledge often benefits resident whom have used another organisation to do their designs, as when the main structure is built, residents can see the spaces provided and make alterations if desired in accordance with planning. Alterations and material selection are important aspects to consider as this will ensure longevity, pleasure and practicality from the spaces created.

Schedule of works

We understand that some clients are unaware of the processes involved in construction projects, so our schedule of works clearly indicates all aspects of work to be undertaken with time frames for each aspect. The need for detailed explanations is not a requirement but provides clarity and makes the construction process unambiguous to residents.

Payment Schedule

The schedule reflects the work to be taken each week and each individual aspect to be undertaken. Dependent upon the size of the project, a payment for the first stage of the construction is not usually required, which puts the client a head of the schedule from the first stage. This is done to offer clients peace of mind, and the payment acts as a contingency cost. Payments are then to be paid upon completion and inspection by building inspector (if required) for each individual aspect.

By the end of the project there is the payment owed from the first stage which is paid by the client to ABLS once the completion certificate has been received from the local authorities.

We understand that client personal finances are different and as we have sourced and used various materials manufacturers over the years, and we get our prices direct, saving the profits made by suppliers.

We’ve spent so long enhancing homes we thought we’d provide an even wider service and offer a service to clients that are keen to have their home built from scratch. So we are able be able to build individual or a collection of stunning homes with considerations from the design stage to maximise the benefits aesthetically and  interms of performance.
